Judika Illes began her magical career early when, at age 6, she first caught sight of a deck of Tarot cards, promptly fell madly in love and hasn’t looked back since. Judika has been living, breathing, studying, and teaching the various magical arts ever since. After many years of study, Judika began reading cards professionally in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1988. Shortly thereafter, she moved to California where this formerly intensely urban native New Yorker became immersed in botanical magic. Los Angeles’ lush climate offered the opportunity for an intensive study of hands-on herbalism. While in Los Angeles, Judika worked as a telephone psychic for several years. She obtained a Certification in Therapeutic Aromatherapy in 1999, then taught beginner and intermediate courses in Aromatherapy for the Australasian College of Herbal Studies. She has been a disc jockey, para-professional crisis counselor, funeral services employee, and a travel consultant.
